FULL TIME FRONT OF HOUSE. We have great opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional, wishing to advance their career in a small, independently owned Michelin starred restaurant in Edinburgh. Experience in a Michelin starred or multi-rosette restaurant preferable.
Dinner is served to a maximum of twelve guests and is a surprise tasting menu. You will be working closely with the owners, the Head Chef and a small, highly focused team to deliver outstanding guest service. We are looking for someone who is articulate and self-assured and who can take responsibility for front of house under the direction of the owners. You will be describing dishes to guests in detail and you’ll be involved in wine service and will need to develop a thorough knowledge of the wine list.
Five days a week, straight shifts, Tuesdays to Saturdays. No lunches.
We are closed for staff holidays for four weeks a year including a week in the summer, a week across Christmas and New Year and a week in either the spring or autumn.
Salary dependent on experience.
