Dining

We are a small, independent, owner-run restaurant tucked away on the south side of the city of Edinburgh. We offer a leisurely dinner, cooked by Scottish chef Tyler King, which lasts around two and a half hours and is a surprise tasting menu.

Tyler cooks with the best of Scottish fish and meat, with fish coming from the Hebrides, Orkney, Shetland and the east coast. Meat and game is sourced from Fife and the Highlands.

Condita seats just twelve guests, at candle-lit, well spaced, Scottish mid-century modern circular dining tables. One of our two kitchen zones are in the restaurant and both chefs and front of house staff will explain all the dishes we serve to you. Decor, made exclusively for Condita, changes seasonally, service is friendly and relaxed and we have no dress code.

Dining is by reservation only, we are open evenings Tuesday to Saturday.

Pescatarian or vegetarian dinners are options, but need to be requested at time of booking. We are not a suitable restaurant for children. We do not offer a dairy, egg, allium, soy or gluten free dinner.

Dinner is £160 per person (£170 from April 2026). Paired wines or from the wine list.
